When you sign up as an SSI Member, you’ll receive your own official SSI Membership Card in the mail! 

Each card comes with a unique member number that will be used to enter your name into the scholarship raffle! 
Along with the card, you will receive an assortment of 3 Zionist laptop stickers and a list of current member opportunities!

You can proudly carry your card on campus and represent SSI wherever you go.

Every semester SSI members are automatically entered into a scholarship raffle just for being part of the movement.

This means real money going straight back to students, whether it helps cover books, tuition, or simply takes some stress off your plate so you can focus more on campus, life, and activism.

Membership is more than a card, it is a way for SSI to support our students by putting funds back into the hands of the people who make the movement thrive.

Membership gives you access to the spaces where things actually happen.

SSI covers or heavily subsidizes tickets to major pro-Israel community conferences and events across the country, such as the JNF-USA's Global Conference or Alternative Break trip to Israel, or events of other major partner organizations. 

These events are where you meet other students and community leaders, connect with inspiring speakers, and take part in experiences that stay with you long after graduation. For many students, conferences open the door to new opportunities and lifelong friendships. By becoming an SSI member, you make sure financial barriers never stand in the way of being in the room and taking part in the moments that matter most.

As an SSI member, you’ll unlock exclusive codes that give you discounted access to merch from Zionist clothing or swag brands directly affiliated with our movement. These codes are created just for our members, making sure you can rep your Zionist pride with exclusive influencer prices.

Is Membership Free?

Yes, SSI membership is completely free​. Joining does more than give you a card - it officially connects you to our national network of students and allows SSI to stay in touch with our growing community across campuses. This way, you get access to member-only benefits like scholarships, conferences, discount codes to Zionist merchandise, and invitations to exclusive events and opportunities.
Membership helps you stay connected to the national organization to hear directly about all these insider opportunities.  Whether you are part of your chapter leadership this year or not, SSI would like to make sure every student affiliated with our movement has the same access to benefits and is part of the circle.

Do I need an existing Chapter to join?

Membership is tied to SSI chapters, so yes, you should be connected to your local chapter on your campus. If your school doesn’t have a chapter yet, the best way to become a member is to reach out to SSI National and start the process of launching one.

When do I get a printed card?

When you fill out the membership form, you’ll be asked to provide your mailing address and we’ll send your official SSI Membership Card directly to you in the mail (about 2-3 weeks), along with special discount codes and a list of current opportunities. 
Your card is personalized with a unique member number that unlocks some of the perks of membership, such as being entered into the semester's scholarship raffle! 

Do I need to be a CURRENT student?

Yes. SSI membership is only for current college and university students. Because SSI is a student-led grassroots movement, membership is here to strengthen our affiliation on campus and connect active students directly to the national network.

What about SSI alumni? 

If you are an alumnus who graduated before SSI's membership page was up and would like to receive a membership card and merchandise discount codes, you can fill out the form as well!
Please note, however, that alumni opportunities are different than those of current students. Make sure you join our Alumni Association, so you can hear about all opportunities available to you like attending public events or supporting chapters in your area. When such opportunities become available to alumni members, SSI will reach out through the alumni association! 
Also, for alumni who have a business that includes Zionist merchandise / Israel related products and would like to provide a special discount to SSI members, please reach out through the contact page! ​

What if i lose my card?

It happens, and it’s not a problem. If your SSI Membership Card gets lost, stolen, or damaged, just contact us, and we’ll send you a replacement. Your unique member number will stay the same.
