Kent State University Passes a Pro Israel resolution

Students Supporting Israel at Kent State University PASSES the first Pro Israel resolution of 2017 at the Kent State University student senate!
The resolution passed in the student senate 18-2.
Following a semester long efforts and the passing of the resolution, President Sophia Witt said: "We are so honored to represent the Jewish and pro-Israel community on Kent's campus, this legislation only shows the strength of our community and the fact that more student bodies stand in support of the Jewish people and the Jewish State of Israel".
SSI National President Ilan Sinelnikov said" "I would like to congratulate the members of SSI Kent State and the pro Israel community for another great win on our college campuses. This is the 7th resolution that SSI passes since 2014 and we will keep passing them all over the country".
The resolution states the following:
the Department of State recognizes that Antisemitism manifests itself relative to Israel through words and actions that:
Demonize Israel
●Using the symbols and images associated with classic anti-Semitism to characterize Israel or Israelis
●Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis
●Blaming Israel for all inter-religious or political tensions
Apply a Double Standard for Israel
●Applying double standards by requiring of it a behavior not expected or demanded of any other democratic nation
Delegitimize Israel
●Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, and denying Israel the right to exist
