In November 2020, the Undergraduate Student Government of the City College of New York passed a resolution condemning antisemitism and calling on the university to adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism as its official standard.
The resolution came in the wake of a series of antisemitic incidents both nationally and on campus, including a 2018 swastika attack on the CCNY Hillel office. It marked SSI's 3rd resolution passed in New York and called on CCNY President Dr. Vincent Boudreau to formally implement the IHRA definition institution-wide. |
