Join Students Supporting Israel
for a Unique Campaign Celebrating Jerusalem!
Our campaign includes a special focus on the reunited City of Jerusalem, Israel's capital that was unified during the Six Day War. We will celebrate the open access to holy sites, freedom of religion, the development of the city, Jerusalem’s diversity and its connection to Jewish history and heritage.
Campaign background: 2017 marked 50 years since the Six Day War, and Students Supporting Israel marked the anniversary of this historic event by hosting a "50 years since the Six Day War and United Jerusalem" national campaign on college campuses. We recognized the importance of this date by inviting the academic community to look at the war through the Israeli eyes, understand the meaning of winning a war of survival, reuniting the holy City of Jerusalem, the cost of the victory, and the impact of the war on Israel today. In 2017, we hosted a wide range of events and activities on campuses nation-wide, with speakers, movie screenings, informational displays and giveaways. Now, that the 50 years anniversary is over, we continue celebrating and educating students about Jerusalem, Israel's one and only capital city. |
