In a March 17th, 2021 statement by Students Supporting Israel at Kennesaw State University President, Rebekah Mann said:
“It is incredible to know that by passing the IHRA definition of antisemitism tonight, this will have a lasting affect on future generations at Kennesaw State University.” KSU joins SSI as the 10th campus to pass the IHRA definition of antisemitism on campus! |
Kennesaw State University UNANIMOUSLY Passes a Resolution Adopting the IHRA Definition of Antisemitism.
The bill includes and adopts the IHRA definition which defines antisemitism as: “Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.” |
HUGE Mazel tov to our chapter at Kennesaw State University! We are so proud of the effort and persistence put forth by Rebekah and her team of students at Kennesaw State University. SSI at KSU has shown leadership in the worldwide fight against antisemitism by adopting the IHRA working definition. We applaud them for this notion, and encourage other chapters, and non-chapters to emulate the initiative led by KSU to stop antisemitism once and for all!
Antisemitism is no exception to discrimination, hate, and RACISM, and SSI students are working relentlessly to obliterate this from today's society.
