Life and Legacy Giving
WHAT is a legacy donation?
A legacy donation supports SSI by naming "Students Supporting Israel" as a beneficiary in a will, trust, life insurance, retirement account, charitable trust, or any other asset.
These financial gifts are identified during your lifetime, but they are deferred gifts and are not passed to SSI during your lifetime.
WHO gives a legacy donation?
Donors at all levels can give legacy donations if you wish to include SSI as a beneficiary in your estate planning.
WHY do people give legacy donations?
During your lifetime you can support a non-profit's mission, but what if you wish to continue the commitment? It can be done through estate planning. Legacy, sometimes called "planned" gifts, are just that option that provides you to pass on your values and goals in the form of ongoing financial support to SSI.
HOW do SSI donors give legacy donations?
You may choose to name "Students Supporting Israel" as a beneficiary in your retirement plan, life insurance, bank, or investment accounts.
